Cross-curricular themes

From the point of view of Culturepath, the cross-curricular themes are challenging but at the same time rewarding. In practice, the whole Culturepath is like the cross-curricular themes: Both Culturepath and cross-curricular themes seek to form a whole of different subjects. On the other hand this leads into a paradox: Culturepath visits can not be compulsory elements of any cross-curricular theme and any kind of list of visits does not lead to a perfect following of the framework curriculum in cross-curricular themes.

Due to this Culturepath has only one compulsory cross-curricular theme visit which is made in either in the year class 3 or 4. In any case, the majority of the visits supports teaching of cross-curricular themes - especially in the following cross-curricular themes: to grow up as a human being, cultural identity and internationality, communication and media knowledge, and participating citizenship and entrepreneurship.
