Culturepath has altogether five compulsory visits to a museum. You make also two optional visits mostly to a museum in visual arts, one optional visit in history, and one in cross-curricular themes. Therefore Culturepath requires 5-9 visits to a museum in the year classes 1-9.

The compulsory visits in visual arts are the visit to Turku Art Museum in the year class 4 and 7 and the visit to Wäinö Aaltonen Museum of Art in the year class 5.

The optional visits can be directed to Luostarinmäki Handicrafts Museum, the Kuralan Kylämäki Village or Workshops in Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova Museums. It is also possible to visit Turku Castle.

The compulsory visits in history are made in the year class 5 or 6 to Turku Castle or in the year class 6 to Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova Museums.
The optional visit in history is made in the year classes 6-9, rather in the year class 8, to Luostarinmäki Handicrafts Museum or Forum Marinum.

Many museums offer their help in the teaching of cross-curricular themes:
the Kuralan Kylämäki Village, Luostarinmäki Handicrafts Museum, Pharmacy Museum and Qwensel House. One alternative is also different cultural happenings offered yearly by The Museum Centre of Turku: The Days of Handicraft in Luostarinmäki, The week of ancient techniques in Kuralan Kylämäki Village, The Day of Archeology, The Day of Building tradition, Catered Christmas Tables.
