Culturepath is subject-centred for practical reasons: Culturepath is based on the requirements of the framework curriculum and the most of the requirements are presented in the framework curriculum of the subject.

In practice there is no reason to limit Culturepath visits so that they support the framework curriculum of one subject only, but it is recommended to cross boundaries. You should not either forget those subjects whose framework curriculum does not directly require a visit to some cultural institution in Turku. Definitely, the aspect of this kind of subject deserves to be taken into consideration, too. For example, the visits to Handicraft Museum, to Kuralan Kylämäki Village and to different art museums and exhibitions support the framework curriculum in craft. Likewise, a visit to Turku Cathedral supports the framework curriculum in religion.

Culturepath is an open entity, which can be completed. New visiting places (liable to a fee) are taken into Culturepath only after careful consideration and the ground for the visit should be found in the framework curriculum. There is no reason for the schools and teachers not to get the whole benefit from the visits.
