Theatre
The framework curriculum requires the pupils of the basic education to make theatre visits. Theatre is visited at least four times during basic education under guidance of the teacher. The guided visits are carried out in the following way: the first visit in the year class 3, the second in the year class 5, the third in the year class 6 and the fourth in the year class 8.
Teachers can choose themselves the theatre and the play, which support best the subject they are teaching. Theatre visits can be organised together with other subjects. A theatre can also visit the school - and it can be a theatre not mentioned in the following list.
The teacher has a possibility, depending on the theatre of course, to get to know the cast, the director, scenic designers and costume designers with the pupils. Different theatres also offer possibilities to attend repetitions.
